Corpus Christi was a no show when compared to Aransas Pass, Port
Aransas, and Rockport. They took a big hit as they were northeast of
us and we got the downwind side of the circulation while they were on
the advancing side. Now Houston is flooded and will be for the rest
of the week and further and the storm heads east to LA.
This is being sent to many different people so I do have to report on
Jan the Imposter Wife. She continues to improve by small steps. The
fridges and freezer reached the point in time where everything has
warmed up. So we will be tossing out a lot of formerly hard frozen
foods. Nothing wrong with loosing a few pounds!
We are well and our little development survived very well. A few
shingles here and there and sections of fencing blown down, one tree
blown down and my many large limbs broken off. We have right now in
TX 18 counties on the Federal disaster Assistants list. You should
know that a county in Texas is as large as the state of Rhode Island generally.
God bless you all.
Chris, Arnie whatever name you call me.
>But all is well. People in the communities who had mandatory evac
>orders will have a lot more to get used to when they finally come
