Got a buddy living in Katy.  He  was fine for  several days but now is off 
the net so I expect he has lost power and may have  been evacuated.  Just 
keeping up a watch, not a damn thing we can do but  wait.

I did a welfare check on one of the guys I was in Nam  with. He lives 
on the North West side of Houston. He said he is high and  dry up on a 
hill and luckily has power , water and food. He said so far he  has had 
37 inches of rain and everything below is  flooded.
