And that is the rest of the story for several 
wives.  Hard part is to get them to tell their 
side of the story.  Probably would never happen 
GI.  My Imposter Wife joined the Army when she 
married me in 61.  She asked months before we 
actually tied the knot...What will we be 
doing?  And I told her, What ever the Army wants 
me to do and you will have to figure out many 
times by yourself because I might not be there to 
help in your decisions.  She turned out to 
quickly become a "Damned Good Army Wife"  Not all 
Army Wives were good as many can attest to.  Then 
again...quite a few Army members were not very 
good as Army Husbands while their Army Wives were 
trying to hold the family together.
