Getting a bit "old news," but still a good read:

A 5-page critique and review of bias in Ken Burns' "The Vietnam War" that could have been written by just about anyone who served there and could stomach watching it.

There's an interesting comment in this article:

"We know Burns opposed the war at the time and decided not to go to Vietnam." (Bottom right, "page 22")

QUESTION: During those years, just how was it that someone "decided not to go"?

THAT might make for an interesting followup about Ken Burns.
