Does me well to know that I survived living in
the Alley for 23 years Bill. Three of them
between Lampasas and Copperas Cove out in the
country, 4 of them in Canyon outside Amarillo,
and the rest in Arlington where we had the one
tornado that hit parts of Ft Worth then going
eastward it skipped over our part of Arlington
and landed just a couple of miles further east
just west of Arlington Airport and drove itself thru part of Grand Prairie.

I guess there were more years than that after
retirement from Bell Helicopter when we travelled
the country full time in our BAMH but only
remember someplace we stayed overnight where it
was forecast to maybe happen that night and they
parked us in a spot that was across their
underground shelter which had been a ammo storage
area many years back during WW2. If you hear our
Sirens go off sir, you run and get inside quick
as you can! Forget where that was at now but my
mind says it was either KY or TN. Gettin old.
