E.T. phones home again in this extraordinary 2019 Christmas reunion short film.

After 37 years, E.T. comes back to visit his friend, Elliott, for the holidays.  During his stay, E.T. learns that Elliott now has a family of his own and that technology has completely changed on Earth since his last visit.

In the classic 1982 movie from director Steven Spielberg, Elliott was played by child actor Henry Thomas who reprises the role for the reunion short, where Elliott is all grown up with a wife and two children, who look very similar to how Thomas and co-star Drew Barrymore appeared as child actors in the original movie.
