Well here am I! Watching; the History Channel’s recollection of our good, ol’ “Veetnam” 'sperience and history. I’m transfixed. It don’ take all that much really. I’m one who ponders a vibrant fart as though it were a pronouncement from the Almighty His-own-se’f.

PresentIy I’m 72. Wait! 71? 70?!? 12-19-47? You figure it if it matters to you. Obviously it matters little to me. :D
I’m ill at present. I mean more than normal. Snottin,’ snortin’ ’n’ snifflin’. The joy of Midwestern winters. No pity party, puhleeze. It is what it is.

As with many,”Veetnam” lingers in my every moment. Memories of engagements, lost Mates, the madness of unrequited rage and so much more haunt my days, nights and private moments. It never ceases, really. They won’t let it be. Honors bestowed on ceremonial days: Veteran’s Day, Memorial Day, Bugaloo Day, whatever, I tend to think these days ease the angst those who never went, never supported, never believed or understood need to savor to ease their felt guilt.

History pains me. especially when it’s factual. Welp, ya’ll who were there and there, know plenty without me babbling on. To save mi fingering and ur patience, I’ll demure. I can’t type worth a lick anyway. My main grumble is that we who went did so for a worthy, noble intent. I went. I flew. I do NOT regret. I have Vietnamese friends who appreciate our efforts/ For them I’d have done the same again. For the current warriors who risk all for the high nobility of the freedom and dignity of others who covet freedom, you have my categorical, complete respect and support. I love you. I support you. I pray nightly for you safety and whole return.

God bless!

When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion. When you see that in order to produce you need permission from men who produce nothing. When you see money flowing to those who deal not in goods but in favors. When you see men get richer by graft and pull more than work, and your laws don't protect you against them but protect them against you. And when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice you may know that your society is doomed.
