I do not and cannot know the ideological or political affiliations of the
comrades on this net. Some are definite in their positions and statements,
many or most are not. Regardless, we all share common experience for
cohesion.

 

For the record I will state I am a lifelong Democrat with all that includes
and implies, but that is truly not the point here. Concern for the lives of
everyone and for the life of our republic and our way of life is.

 

I believe I know what leadership is, what the acceptance of responsibility
is, what the fulfillment of an oath is.

 

And I know what it is not.

 

That lens gives clarity not just to but beyond the covid-19 crisis. 

 

I believe it is up to each of us to not only help each other, but to save so
much that is, frankly, under siege.

 

Please consider that.
