[Vhfcn-l] Hacker or phishing emails?

In the last week I have received two emails from members of VHFCN that
looked like classic scam type formats, consisting of a single word subject
and containing only a web link and what is probably the sender's automatic
email signature block.

 

These are the kind where malware or the like manages to send emails to
everyone in an address book with a dangerous link embedded, a pretty classic
scam.

 

I will notify one individual directly, the one I got today, but I did not
unfortunately save the first one to follow up.

 

Anyone else seeing this?
