Flight,
I have been informed by my publisher, Pen and Sword, LLC, that my book
Phoenix 13, a collection of TINS from our unit in Vietnam, is going to be
available in hardback and digital formats in the fall, 2020. You may recall
that over the past few years, several of the TINS in this book were
published in the Heli-vets and Vhfcn digests and the VHPA Aviator.
I am indeed honored that my friend, General Tommy Franks, wrote an
introduction to the book. The then Lieutenant Franks served in Americal
Division Artillery in 67' and 68' prior to me getting there. He flew
occasionally as an armed aerial observer in Divarty's rickety OH-23G's
earning a couple of Air Medals.
If you wish to see the promotional 4-slide blurb. Email me and I will send
it to you.
Stay home and safe my Veteran friends and colleagues! For those of you near
West Texas, come visit when it's safe!
