I was chief test pilot for the Seawolves the last 3 months in country. The Dustoff chief test pilot came over and asked me to fly a new H-Model that had a vibration. I preflighted it thoroughly. We turned it up and the track was good. We few a 15 minute flight and the first thing I did when we landed was go up and feel the blade hub bearings. If one is hotter, that bearing is bad. The major was watching from a distance. Wanted to see me work. I didn’t know it yet, but they called me the “Huey magician”. 

It was a 2 flat lateral. Adjust the blade drag link 2 flats and it was smooth.
