[Vhfcn-l] Super trains

My daughter lives in Albia, IA. On the backside of their acreage is a heavy
or high speed rail that sees trains about 3 trains an hour. Just recently
they have begun to run a super train. 150 to 200 cars with 5 engines. Two
in the front and rear and one in the middle. The town has 30 mph limit on
the trains but they are so long that the lead engines are out of town
before the end of the train. It is amazing to watch a machine that long
accelerate to the point that the trail engines are running over 60 mph when
they leave town. My daughters house is the last one on the edge of town.
They are way quieter than most trains I have heard. One of my son-in-laws
jobs for the company he works for is selling high performance and EV
friendly train engines. Only train salesman I have ever met. These trains
are about 2 miles long.
