[Vhfcn-l] Flat spinning a dual line control kite

I have seen it done and by all people he was a 15 yr old kid who used 
to berate me about not stunting my kite. He ended up at the age of 15 
being the US kite flying Champion.  I was flying one weekend at 
a  park with our club and he asked me if I could do any stunts and I 
told him I flew to relax and the kite was not built to do stunts and 
the last part was a lie.  He asked if he could try my kite.  Ok Kid. 
He popped it off the ground and did a flat spin the hauld it up over 
our heads and I asked him how he did that. Little so and so put it in 
a dive and landed it straight downwind from us.  Then he does another 
flat spin and flew it over to the edge of the wind window and landed 
it and handed me the lines and told me it flew nice...and walked 
away. I could never get a flat spin going and never could land 
directly down wind.  I was the old guy who dragged a beach chair out 
and would fly sitting in the beach chair. I could do that with any of 
my kites including the 4 liners.
