[Vhfcn-l] Mel Canon SITREP update

UPDATE on Mel.   I just got off the phone with Sue and Mel.  Mel has a long road of recovery ahead of him.  I am happy to report that he sounded a bit more positive today.  It sounds like some of what Mel has been experiencing was actually caused by some bad drug interactions.  He is being moved to a rehab facility later on today.  I plan to get together with him after he gets settled to swap of few good stories.  Sue mentioned that this morning she finally connected with a rep from the VA and they are now better coordinating Mel’s care and rehab.  I encourage everyone to reach out to Mel and Sue.  They both need to know they are not alone in this uphill battle.
