Flight,

Spent the Day with Mel. I'm happy to report that all of those mind altering
drugs that had him totally screwed up has "left the building".  He was in
good spirits and was happy to see me. Tom Matason stopped by and added to
the "There I was at 10,000 feet and the master caution light came on". So
the three of us started to out BS the other.  Talked with Foot on speaker
phone so all 4 of us got caught up. Then called Sir Druid was surprised to
find out the Tom was the scout pilot that Brian got shot in. Small world.

 

He's doing rehab PT now and will probably stay there until the following
week. With a bum right shoulder and now missing the lower left leg,
everything he has to do is difficult.

 

The facility he's at is very nice, staffed with friendly nurses and helpers.


 

Had supper with Sue and Mell and enjoyed talking about our history and our
families.

 

Heading back to SC in the morning, hoping the weather isn't as bad as the
forecasts. Was surprised when I saw snow up here.
