[Vhfcn-l] Fwd: VN Maps

Very interesting Jim. I have them saved. But will have to figure out
how to get them off my laptop and into the 55" TV across the room. I
did find several places our Hook stayed at or flew out of...But truth
be known, we as crew were probably told where we were going by name
only 5% of the time. I don't think most of the places we supported
had real names as we mostly supported carrying Artillery pieces out
to the middle of seemingly no place and dropping them off. We might
have follow up missions to resupply them with ammo or we did go out
to no place to pick up guys who got sick or wounded who were located
where they needed to be hoisted up out of a hole in the Jungle. Not
very often but I remember a couple. But then that was a long time
ago (1966) and commanders and we Hookers even were wondering what a
Hook could do. I looked at the maps and could not find the words
"middle of no wheres". If getting it into the 55" TV does not work
will try to steal my wifes 23" monitor she uses in her computer work
due to her Macular Degeneration in both eyes.

I can only imagine the hours of labor spent getting those maps
together so you could send them out to us... and lest I forget before
closing a big thank you for using them to help Gold Star Families see
where they may have lost a son or something else with their son took place.
