OK Flight, I didn't see a lot of cards or flowers when I visited Mel in the
rehab center. Don't try to call as it goes straight to voice mail. 

 

He's about to be moved to a VA facility so just send cards and flowers (NO

He'll need constant encouragement while he transitions from 2 legs to 1.
Sue is still working and in DC so you should know she's stuck in traffic
everyday so she's probably stressing out thinking about Mel and their
future. I'm including Sue's phone so call or text her some hugs. Ladies?

 

This list added tons of bosom buddies to my life. I've contacted pilots I
flew with, crew I flew with, other crewmembers I would have never met
otherwise. Thanks to a post it note on a bulletin board many years ago at a
VHPA reunion. 

 

Help these two out. Say some prayers for his recovery, for his marriage, and
to become the grandfather he wants to be,
