Well my sister used to live in Duplex, when she had kids it doubled the population. Not far from Telephone and just down the road from Honey Grove and Bug Tussle. The coldest town is often Dalhart, the hottest is often Brownsville.  We have German speakers in Seminole, Fredricksburg and Meunster.  Czech speakers in East!  A bit of Cajun is spoken in deep southeast Texas just to even it out.
