[Vhfcn-l] C-47 at Fort Wolters

       When i was stationed at Fort Wolters in 1970 to 1973, we had a C-47.  We got a new pilot who was fixed wing qualified, Bill Due.  I became friends with Bill and his family.  Bill was an Annapolis grad and transferred to the Army and was also a Ranger.  Bill had been with PV-2 unit in Vietnam and since he was a Texan, he requested to be stationed in Texas.

      Great guy and left the Army.  He flew C-130s in the south Pacific for Air America.
