[Vhfcn-l] Head sets

Fellows, I find myself in a quandary. I gave all but two sets of headsets to my old flying club when I left NM.  One set is kind of antiquated and cumbersome, and not always working right.  The other were single plug for helicopters.  I purchased an adapter for them but when I tried to use them only the audio worked, the mic did not.
I suspect there may be an impedance mismatch or the mic is just bad.  I have no way to tell and no one around here will mess with them.
So anyone have a set to sell?  Or an idea of how to make the ones I have work.
Just asking as I want to be self supporting and keep on flying when I can.  Happy to pay a fair amount, just trying to buy a new plane for sporty's or some such.
