We have several beds for iris, last count over 200. We have 19 raised beds of herbs, perennials. Planted about fifty trees last March. We have 19 acres . Work with TN. Wildlife Resources to provide cover for endangered quail population since we have many acres of a native grass called little blue stem. NWF registered as waystation for butterflies, birds, etc.we have deer. Turkey's, squirrels, otters, racoon and occasional bear.Have bird houses, bat houses, feed hummers, grow pollinator plants. It never ends with success and failure. We have four different types of soils in this county. We are close enough to mtns. We get high winds we may have first frost in a few days. Right now I am in Newfoundland hunting. Have a moose for freezer and working on getting a Carribou and bear. Back in states next week
