[Vhfcn-l] Same As Alaska Air

Roger,
Being an ex-Mcdonnell Douglas K2A hydraulics / rigger, I watched this
accident with a great deal of interest. Although, not one of my production
numbers, I vividly remember the out come of the investigation and the screw
jack being the cause of the problem.

The screw jack was found to have no lubrication on it and had litterly
stripped itself. Allowing the stab to run to full length, with no possible
way to recover, neither electrically or manually.
