Speaking of clarity and lenses, perhaps you could dare share some of each as pertains to your abstraction hereafter shown again:"but to save

Please excuse my ignorance as first off, I am not a Jew and if I have been discriminated against, I have not realized it. Jerry, I totally agree with your statement regarding Jews being discriminated a lot more than Christians, I also agree with your statement regarding being able to practice your religion in the manners you please. So why this message? Okay, my pea brain wonders if it is more about ethnicity than it is religion.
This is what I perceive and please correct me if I?m out in left field. Hatred of Jews is akin to the hatred of Arabs, of Hispanics, of African Americans. It has more to do with race and ethnicity. Oh, sure, there are those fundamentilist Christians who want to hold a grudge against the Jews for the crucifictian of Jesus but that does not address the bigger issue. There seems to be some impression that Jews have un upper hand over the non Jews. I don?t know where that comes from but it is similar to the hatred of the Hispanics since they are taking all of our jobs, or the African Americans, who are getting everything handed to them on a silver patter, thus, again, taking our jobs. And what about the Arabs? You notice I didn?t say Muslims, mainly because many idiots don?t know the difference.
I mentioned that I think the whole issue with Jews is more about ethnicity than religion. I come up with this because I know many Jews do not practice their religion but they still face discrimination. Okay, that may be too simplified but it is how my brain works. Bottom line, I don?t understand any of it. I don?t understand the deep seated hatred of Jews that came out of the 1900?s, I don?t understand the current hatred of Arabs, Hispanics, of African Americans. I?m not trying to say I?m perfect in any way, but simply I just don?t understand it. Hatred just seems so senseless.
Now, let me tell you about those jerks, the Republicans?oh, wait, no politics here?sorry.

Personally, I don't like Republicans or Democrats. I've been unenrolled
virtually all my life. I have voted both Democrat and Republican in local
and federal elections. We have a very good republican governor who I voted
for. My NYC family members are pretty far left. I tend to be more moderate,
but for many on this forum, center means left.
Jews have been persecuted a lot more than Christians, both overseas and in
the US.
WRT:Religion. We should all be allowed to practice our religions in the
manners we please, but in the same manner not impose it on others.
