I got a Samsung Galaxy S5. That is an old model
now but still works and Samsung updated parts of
its programming unbeknown to me. I got mine from
Tracfone and it runs off of Verizon phone system
for calls. I have a 15" Dell which is up to date
as of a year ago and the Imposter Wife has one
too which she uses to do her writing on and keep
in touch with the kids and her hard of hearing
friends... BTW she is very seriously considering
getting a Cochlear Implant for her left ear as
her old ear is not working well with her hearing
aid on that side. I may have to drive her up to
San Antonio to get it done but what the hell we
are both retired with nothing else to do. I am
doing well except for finding out more of my
remembering cells were taken out by the
stroke. In conversation I seem to run into
stoppages where I have forgotten things I have
known forever and never stumbled over the words I
want. But I was explaining my early years when I
got into the Helicopter world and retijred still
in it and then my time at Bell Helicopter and
retiring from them. I could reach into memory
bank and I remembered the names of everyone of
the guys in that small Aviation Section on Staten
Island and with a bit of effort could shut my
eyes and see each one of them. That really
suprized me, and that I could remember the layout
of our hangar and of the Airfield
itself. Everything! That was from 1959 to 1962
! I arrived at Ft Wadsworth as a clerk typist
and got sent out to become the Aircraft Parts
Clerk and re-enlisted and did an OJT program on
the CH-21C...we had 2 of them and was awarded the
MOS and crewed 56-2146. Amazing! Got to get out
of this thing and go do the grocery shopping for
the week. You take good care Roger.
Chris
