  Warm Jan and right now it's -14 and still falling with 40 mph winds so 
wind chill is registering -34 to -39. Living in a log home it's noisy as 
the logs suddenly snap and crack as they realign. Nice 72 inside with a 
good fire in the wood stove. Cold until Sunday mid day and then it 
supposed to go back to the high 30's.  Then again it's just brisk 
compared to Roger Ek in the great white North of Maine.
